I built Find a Startup Job because I was fed up with recruitment agencies, anonymous "our client" and "high-growth startup" listings, and the same jobs appearing across multiple platforms.

I just wanted somewhere I could discover real UK startups, see what they're building, find out who's hiring and apply directly. No guessing who's behind a job. No recruiters in the middle.

I love the rawness, energy and a bit of chaos that comes with working at a startup. Small teams figuring things out, founders taking risks and people willing to take a chance on something that might just work. I wanted to support that spirit.

I believe startups deserve a place to be seen, from someone working on their first idea to a growing team looking for its next hire. People should know exactly who they're applying to, and startups should be able to connect directly with future teammates who genuinely want to join them.

This started as a side project because I wanted something like this for myself. If it helps more people discover startups they believe in and find opportunities to build something together, even better.
